This Wednesday the Arvada High School Wrestling program hosted three team duals with Skyview and Englewood high school. All the wrestlers this wednesday were Joseph Ortiz (Sophomore), Kadin Mitchell (Freshman), Nahum Macias-Castillo (Sophomore), Christian Ciotti (Senior), Jonathan Schleicher (Junior), Joseph Gonzalez (Senior), Victor Casales (Senior), and John Ocelnick(Junior).

Joseph Ortiz (132s) first wrestled Englewood and won in the second period by a pin. His next match against Skyview he dominated and won 19-1. Kadin Mitchell (106s) had no match against Englewood but did against Skyview but sadly got pinned in the second period. Nahum Macias-Castillo (157s) had no match against Englewood again but got pinned in the second against Skyview. Christian Ciotti (165s) won both matches against Skyview and Englewood with pins in the first period. Jonathan Schleicher gets no match against Englewood but loses in the first period to pin against Skyview. Joseph Gonzalez (160s) had another no match against Englewood but was able to win in his match against Skyview. Victor Casales (220s) lost by pin in his Englewood matchup but won his last match by pin against Skyview. John Ocelnick(Junior) unfortunately and problems and couldn’t get a single match against either school
