After winter break on Thursday, January 4th, all students will have the regular seven period schedule, instead of the even schedule.
This was a decision on behalf of the principal and staff. Mr. Beckwith said, “Students will not have their regular even day schedule because a lot of students will have new schedules and new teachers, this is just so kids can get used to these new schedules and new teachers.”
The Thursday after break will just be another day to get used to the schedule, however we will still have our late start at 9:20 am. This also means that the classes will be shorter. At the beginning of the day there will be time to take a look at your new schedule, then you will go to your classes as normal. Each class will be forty minutes, due to this there will not be an academy time for students to join. So make sure to be prepared for when we come back on Thursday after winter break for a different schedule!
