Back-to-school night at Arvada High School last week on August 20th, with teachers and families alike attending.
With teachers, students, and their parents all showing up for the event, the floor was packed with people, and the air was as vibrant as ever.
The cafeteria was packed with families interacting with the school booths, from the ELA teachers giving out books to the journalism class taking pictures at their booth.
Before the event had even started, Arvada’s pro-start class was busy in the kitchen baking cookies for the parents and students who planned to be there.
Just as it got into high motion without warning, the fire alarm went off from a popcorn machine brought over by altitude church being placed right under a fire alarm.
Parents are looking forward to the many activities our school has to offer this year to students
“I’m looking forward to the theater program, music, and just all the experiences they get from those activities, as well as good academics and stretching my child to make sure they are learning and expanding their mind.” – Susan Willson Madison a parent at back to school night.
Parents alike enjoyed their time at back-to-school night
“So far so good, I got a cone of ice, enjoyed the fire drill outside, and looking forward to meeting new teachers” – Susan Willson Madison
