We are 7 games into the 23-24 Boys Soccer season at Arvada High School, so let’s have a recap of what has happened so far. Our first game was a non-league away game against Weld Central. We fought our hardest but ended up losing 2-0. 4 days later we had a league game, also away against Jefferson. We scored our first goal of the season this game. They tied it up but we kept fighting. Unfortunately in the very last minute Jefferson scored and we sadly lost 2-1. We did not let that bring us down though, and we had to look forward to our next game in 2 days. That day arrived, and we were playing an away league game against Englewood. Despite our best efforts, we lost the match 5-0.
The 4th game we played this season was a non league game at home against Denver West. We tried very hard but lost the contest 10-0. Our next match was in 2 days, and we were playing a non league game far from home against Conifer. Everyone played hard but it wasn’t quite enough, and we ended up losing 6-0 on their home turf. Our next game was 5 whole days away so we had plenty of time to prepare. The match was a non league away game against Alameda. We neither lost nor won the match, as it ended in a draw 1-1. The next game was the very next day, and once again had to play away. It was a league game against Fort Lupton where we sadly lost 10-0.
