Calling out all seniors to come together to make a bang at their last high school home game of the season! Come welcome our bulldog seniors and support them on the court as we send them off with their last win. If you don’t already know, senior night is a high school and college tradition, where athletes playing their final home game pf the season before graduation are recognized and honored by their school and fans.
There will be a ceremony where each senior will be introduced for a short presentation or speech as well as receiving any rewards and gifts from others. Senior night can be a big moment for many athletes as they are not only moving on from their school to achieve bigger things, but they are leaving their coach and teammates behind as well. It can be a very memorable and emotional time for them both, as well as parents and other coaches or staff members.
This 2024 basketball season senior night will include the following 7 seniors, Emma Ngewasi (who is our only women’s basketball player), Tyson Luna, Brandon Martinez, Trevor Lucero, Christian Lake, Chester Monroe, and Alfonso Avila. This will take place in the Arvada big gym tomorrow Thursday, February 15th at 5:30 PM for the boy’s game, and 7:00 PM for the girl’s game. They will be playing against Arrupe High School, and the theme will be Pink Out, so make sure you wear your pink! The senior night ceremony will take place between the boy’s and girls’ varsity games and will be about 30 minutes long. Where they will be individually introduced to the audience and will be honored by everyone in the gym.
