The Arvada (CO) varsity soccer team won Friday’s home conference game against Sheridan (Denver, CO) by a score of 10-0. @ NAAC Sports Complex (19400 W 64th Pkwy, Arvada) Breaking up the score starting with Arvada having (5) Nora Rice scoring 5 goals, contributing with nice assets to help out.
(11) Carmen Medina being a team player helps set up goals. 3 assets and getting to attack the field to get a goal. Another player who helped out the team is (23) Emma Ngewasi who was the main part of this game and had the team up with 6 goals. Arvada was able to move up the field and get everyone involved by getting into positions and moving through the field and getting into the right place and at the right time. And able to keep the defense in check by shutting down the Rams getting nothing to score off them. From their defense positions being all in different techniques and being able to close the ball on them and have the ability to steal the ball and turn it over. On offense Arvada was able to connect with others that passed around and get close enough to score a goal.
