Here at Arvada, it takes a lot to be a part of the challenging baseball program. Every single day you need to be at the top of your game. This leaves the question though, what does this day look like? Freshman Isaac Martinez and freshman Asher Buehrle were interviewed about this topic, and here is the typical day.
6:00 AM
Asher-“I wake up, get ready, and have 2 egg sandwiches to keep my energy up through to day. I take cold showers, because I learned it was better for your health somewhere. Lastly, I pray and go to school.”
Isaac-“I get up, drink some water, and eat my overnight oats bowl I make. I get in the shower and go to school, I’m tired in the morning.”
8:25 AM
Asher-“I get to school, usually greet the teachers and I use some morning time to prepare for the day.”
Isaac-“I arrive to my class, and I mostly like to stay on time, I prioritize that I would say.”
12:00 PM
Asher-“During my lunch period, I like to watch some baseball or talk with my friends outside, this is my time to talk with my teammates and homies.”
Isaac-“I usually go sit in the lobby on my phone, I’m a freshman so I can’t go off campus so I find joy here.”
3:30 PM
Asher-“Usually after this time it’s strictly baseball. We either go to practice or a game, and that’s the only 2.”
Isaac-“This time is the favorite of my day, cause I’m always playing baseball, I love getting better.”
7:00 PM
Asher-“This is where I start my night time routine, I like to eat a clean meal for my sleep and I watch baseball videos almost all night.”
Isaac-“I use this time to sleep. No more comments.”
