My name is Miguel and I’m a reporter here at Ahs. I’m here with the sophomore captain of the football team Jayden Roybal and I asked him a series of questions about his experience with the team and his teammates. I asked him what it was like to play football for Ahs. his response was.
Jayden” It’s pretty cool i still think we are trying to build a culture. I feel we have a good team and a pretty good coach overall pretty cool and fun.”
I asked him about his contribution to the team and his connection with his teammates, and he said.
Jayden” I try to be a leader and make a brotherhood with my teammates i try to talk to them outside of school and try to be as close with them as I can be so it reflects on the football field.”
I also asked him does he thinks the community and other schools doubt their potential he said.
Jayden” Yes just because we are a smaller school than everyone in this area we kind of get pushed under the rug in a way no matter how good of a season we have.”
