Abi, an 11th-grade student, was interviewed and gave her perspective on how she feels about entering her junior year. Some classes aren’t as hard in junior year depending on how good you are at a subject. “A six because the classes aren’t as hard.”
As students get closer to senior year a lot of emotions start to occur
“Girl I am scared because it’s our last year and then we’re going to be actual adults, like we’re not going to be kids anymore”
Junior year is when you have to be on top of things and keep track of your grades, which can be stressful.
“I don’t think it’s stressful right now but as we get further in the year I think it’ll be more stressful”
Most students feel that just because one person or a couple of people do something wrong doesn’t mean everyone else should be punished. “I think it’s stupid because people don’t get distracted by their phones that much”
Most teachers are strict because they’re new; some just want the best for you and want you to succeed, so they don’t just do whatever you want. “I think they are more strict now because they’re all new and they just follow every single rule”
