It’s the final week of the semester, all grades are going to be final. Meaning, student’s gpa’s are changing, student;athlete eligibility, and Warren Tech’s ability to gain college credit will be impacted this week. For Freshman’s, this is the week that dictates the rest of high school for them.
Freshman, Vincent Ortega says, “Most of my finals are just tests and some projects, but it’s every class. “ Luckily, he already has the knowledge and just needs to apply it to tests.
Tre Kent, Senior, says “I try to get work done on my off period and if I’m at home and there’s nothing to do and i know i have work to do, ill do it. I try to knock out everything in class but if not, I find time.”
The boys basketball team also gets a study hall period during the girls practice which has proven to be beneficial.
Kayden Murray says, “the support i get from teachers has been really good, they’ve helped me with my final assignments and past assignments so I can catch up and pass all my classes.”
Teachers also have a stressful week as they are trying to make sure no kids fail, on top of grading every assignment.
Mr. Ell says “At this time, kids are finally doing their work.” That sounds like he has a lot of missing work to grade.
