Arvada High School is starting the year with a new soccer coach.
The school is proud to announce that biology teacher Mr. Ruzicka has been appointed as the new head coach for the boys’ soccer team.
This will be Mr. Ruzicka’s first year as a soccer coach so it is going to be a fresh start for the girls this season.
As Coach Ruzicka steps into his first season at the school, there are a lot of people eager at Arvada High School to see how this season goes.
Mr. Ruzicka was Captain for his team for two years in the past. “I was captain for two years,” his mix of teaching and leadership will be great in helping the team develop this season with a new coach and the loss of seniors from last season.
The upcoming season will be a learning experience for both Coach Ruzicka and the players.
While it’s his first year, Ruzicka has high expectations for the team’s potential. “This will be my first time coaching soccer.”
He has already been working hard to connect with his players in class and he keeps telling students to join to see if they can get more players this year.
The school can’t wait for the season to begin and support the girls soccer team. We wish the girls best of luck in their upcoming soccer season!
