After a tough loss last week against Brush, football came back with a win for their homecoming game against the Timnath Cubs. In the first quarter, senior quarterback Trevor Lucero threw a touchdown to wide receiver Jerriah Arellano giving us the lead going into the second quarter.
In the second quarter the bulldogs scored 28 points, including two touchdowns from Arellano and 99-yard fumble recovery run by senior tight end Christian Lake.
Going into the third quarter the Bulldogs did not score, but defense was strong and only allowed one touchdown from the Cubs.
Finally, in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs scored one last touchdown, thanks to Lucero, who ran it in to bring the final score of the game 42-27.
