On Wednesday, February 5th, students from Arvada High School visited Cd’s Wings to look for a sponsorship. Someone who went with them was Mr. Ell, who led five students Damien Hernandez, Darrien O’Reilly, Edwin Ferguson, Teo Robinson, and Fidel Flores.
The purpose for the visit was to discuss a potential sponsorship to their segment, “Heated Questions,” which appears on Bulldog TV. This segment is like a similar show called hot ones but we use the Last Man Standing challenge at Cd’s Wings.
During the meeting, the students introduced themselves and explained what heated questions were to the staff at Cd’s Wings.
They talked about how this sponsorship deal could benefit both. If Cd’s Wings provided the hot wings, Bulldog TV would promote them through the segment. While the meeting was taking place, each student took turns stating their name.
When it was Fidel’s turn, he mistakenly introduced himself as Damien, which was confusing for the students.
Everyone didn’t say anything until after the meeting ended. Mr. Ell thought that they were trying to pull off a prank but it was just a slip up.
The good thing was that they ended up securing the sponsorship.
You should tune in to Bulldog TV to watch the “Heated Questions” segment. If you want to challenge yourself, visit Cd’s Wings located on 88th and Wadsworth to see if you can be the Last Man Standing challenge, as seen on Bulldog TV.
