On April 30th the Rockies played the Braves at Coors field.
Right before the game they held stem day for schools all over Colorado.
They did a bunch of different activities.
For example they bring out a robot dog.
Which was very cool seeing how much technology is advancing.
They would tell them to fetch the ball and he’d fetch it he even went down the stairs backwards.
Then they did the final experiment.
They put a bunch of plastic balls and blew them up.
Well not really blew up they made a mini explosion which ended up sending the balls flying out.
After that we went to go get food since we got a free voucher which gave us a super dog and a fountain drink.
We also went into the new era store which had all the different hats of the Rockies and other teams.
Before the game started we went to play some of the Rockies games.
For example in one of the games it was a batting simulation.
In the other one it measured how fast you pitched.
The game started and we went to the very bottom right next to Jordan Eli.
Brenton Doyle ended up hitting a home run which our friend next to us almost caught.
It ended up hitting his hand and bent his finger back.
You could see us on tv if you go watch the replay.
They started giving out free t-shirts and they were throwing them out to the crowd.
The Rockies ended up winning 2-1 and got their 5th victory this season.
We got back into our bus which was very nice.
It had a bathroom and the seats were very comfy.
Overall it was a great experience being able to get this reward for having 95% attendance.
